Description

Deglet Nour (arabic دقلة نور ‚date of light‘, also „Deglet Noor“) grow in North Africa, mainly in Algeria. They are relatively big dates with a uniform brown color. Their skin is very thin, and they are soft but still crunchy. Deglet Nour have a very pleasant, sweet and fruity flavor and taste best cold, directly from the fridge.

Deglet Nour dates are packed and sold with the branch. Because they are soft dates, it’s possible that some get crushed by the dates on top or the lid of the box. This is completely natural and no indication of lower quality, it also doesn’t have any impact on the taste.

Origin: Algeria
