Vegan Chocolate Cubes

 

A delicious recipe for vegan chocolate cake cubes sweetened with our date sugar. A light and savory treat!

 

Ingredients:

  • 200 g white flour
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g date sugar
  • 250 g water
  • 50 g oil
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar

For the ganache:

  • 90 g vegan chocolate
  • 40 g coconut cream

 

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

  1. In a medium sized bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix the liquids and then carefully add them to the dry mixture.
  3. Pour the dough into a square cake pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Take out and let cool down.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the ganache. Cut the chocolate into pieces and put them into a bowl. In a small pan, bring the coconut cream to a boil for a few seconds, then pour over the chocolate pieces. Mix, until there are no pieces left.
  5. Pour the ganache over the cake and decorate to taste with coconut or chocolate. Cut the cake in small cubes.
